Beautiful chessmen. The antique look really adds class.

Easily the best kind of chess pieces you could ask for. Incredible detail and weight. The black knights have some slightly mismatched eyes but it’s understandable given that these are individually carved. I found a decent priced 18x18 board on Amazon from A&A chess and although the squares are only 2 inches (with this set recommending 2.1) the pieces still fit just fine. This is definitely a chess set that I will cherish for a lifetime.

If I could only own one Russian Chessmen set THIS might be the one I choose. The Russians want their sets to have a distinctive look, and these definitely have that going on plus every piece is very classy. They are heavy weighted which I love about all my Staunton Castle chessmen. Excellent addition to my Collection.

I am very satisfied. I think these are the best chess pieces available on the market. The color and luster of the wood, the precision of the carving, and the design of the pieces are all very impressive. I contacted Mandeep because I had a minor issue with the felt and weights. His response was amazingly fast. After several constructive communications, he sent me a replacement felt right away. Actually, it was a problem I could have repaired myself, but his response showed me how responsible he is. Either way, it's amazing to get pieces of this quality at this price. Thanks Mandeep.

A strikingly beautiful set

I dreamed of great chess, but I didn't even know about such chess. I want to thank the master for his excellent work! It would be very good if there was also a chess board with these chess pieces.

This chessboard is a great work of art that I will show with great pride to my friends and family. Mandeep comes from a family of great artisans among the very best in the world.
