Return and Refund Policy

We strive to provide our customers with high-quality chess products made from natural wood. However, due to the nature of the materials and the shipping process, certain issues may arise. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we accept returns and provide replacements.


1. Warranty Coverage

We offer a comprehensive warranty that covers:

  • Hairline cracks found on chess pieces.
  • Items (including chess pieces, chess boards, and chess storage boxes) that are received in a broken or damaged condition upon delivery.

Our goal is to ensure that every customer receives products in excellent condition, and we take damage claims seriously when supported with the proper documentation.


2. General Returns – 30-Day Policy

We accept returns for any reason within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the following conditions:

  • Buyers must return the parcel at their own expense using a trackable shipping method.
  • Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, and properly packaged to avoid damage in transit.
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process a refund.
  • The refund will be made after deducting the original shipping charges that we incurred to send the order to the buyer.

Please note: We do not cover return shipping fees for voluntary returns (i.e., buyer’s remorse or change of mind).


3. Replacement of Chess Pieces (Hairline Cracks)

If a buyer receives a chess piece with a hairline crack, we will replace that piece free of charge under the following conditions:

  • The buyer must provide photographic or video evidence of the crack.
  • The buyer is responsible for covering the shipping cost associated with sending the replacement piece.

Only the specific cracked piece will be replaced, not the entire set.


4. Replacement of Chess Boards

In the event that a chess board is delivered with visible cracks or scratches, the buyer must:

  • Notify us immediately with clear photographs or video evidence.
  • Return the damaged board to us at their own expense.
  • After receiving and inspecting the original board, we will send a new replacement board.
  • The buyer must cover the shipping cost for the replacement board.

5. Replacement of Storage Boxes

If a storage box arrives broken or damaged:

  • The buyer must submit photographic or video proof.
  • A replacement will be provided.
  • The buyer must pay the shipping cost for the replacement.

6. Natural Wood Color Variation

All our products are made from natural, unstained wood, and as such:

  • Color variations are natural and expected due to differences in wood grain and lighting.
  • Claims based on color variation will not be accepted.

We do not use stains or artificial colors; each piece’s appearance is unique.


7. Transit Damage & Proof Requirements

To process any claim for damage during shipping, we strongly recommend:

  • Recording a complete unboxing video starting from the moment the parcel is received until the contents are fully unpacked.
  • This video serves as proof of damage during transit and is essential for any return or replacement request.

If such video evidence is not provided, we will not be able to accept claims related to shipping damage.
