This set is the fine reproduction of Jaques London chess set circa 1900-15. This set is hand turned and carved beautifully using the finest quality wood. This chess set is perfectly designed for tournament. The weight of the chessmen is perfectly balanced.
The king height 4.00 inch whilst maintaining the design specifics. The finishing to these mid range chess pieces is something you would expect to see in a higher priced set with a luxury tag! As with all the Staunton Collection, expect nothing but quality at an affordable price point!
We carved the knights of and crafted this Jaques London chess-pieces in Ebonised and Antique boxwood natural, rendering it a great contrast.
This exquisite set of chess figures comes with two extra queens, and all 34 pieces are bottom-weighted heavy as they are for mechanical stability during play. We have very precisely pasted green felt on the bottom of each piece to keep the board free from scratch and the game noiseless.
As it comes to you, you will get it in a shock proof packaging. Each piece is packed in its respective cell that makes the whole set jerk free.
The antique look of the box wood pieces is resembled this sets with original Jaques chess set.

xReturns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
