This chess set was created to get a feel of Jaques of London chess set as some buyers cannot afford the high priced Jaques of London Chess sets. Both of the armies of this chess set are made in Boxwood. The semi-gloss lacquered finish on the pieces gives this chess set an elegent look. All the chess pieces are hand carved. The beautiful carving on the pieces is fabulous. The knight heads are very well carved with the complete super fine detail on them. The chess set is heavily weighted and very well balanced for the players to have a good feeling during moves in the game. The design of this chess set is best choice of the player and the collector. This chess set is best to give the gift as the this is a luxury collection with very low price. The exquisite beauty this set is ornamented with is due to its unique KNIGHT worth of any Chess hobbit's admiration. It comes with a superb finish, two extra queens, and with bottoms weighted heavy. Each of its 34 pieces, has its specific place in the Presentation Box containing the set. Its excelling quality does not make it any costlier. Rather it's less expensive as we are its makers in India. Our artisans did a great job. The Carving on the knight head is extremely superb. The aggressive face impression of the knight head and the beautiful carved mane makes this knight more beautiful and stunning. The face and body muscles of the knight give the hasting look to this knight. The metric cut on the Bishop is so symmetrical. This design should be choice of the chess Collectors and the Hobbits.
