This Jaques Reproduction Staunton Chess Set is that we have carved from pitch black high-grade Ebony wood for one half, and the other lighter color half is that we extracted from very fine-grained Boxwood made semi antiqued on environmental long standing that gives it a real antiqued look.

The highest figure of the set, that is, the Monarch possesses a lofty height of quarter to 3.25 inches with gradually decreasing heights of the queen, the bishop, the KNIGHT, the rook and the pawn. Its base diameter is 1.625”

The exquisite beauty this set is ornamented with is due to its unique KNIGHT worth of any Chess hobbit's admiration.

It comes with a superb finish, two extra queens, and with bottoms weighted heavy. Each of its 34 pieces.
