 It is an exact  recreation of the Jaques of London Chessmen Circa 1849 Leuchars Staunton Pattern Chessmen. These Chessmen feature a 3.6" King with a 1.7" Diameter base and are heavily weighted. These Chessmen are a specific match to the original Chessmen, be it its smallest details!!

Staunton Castle has reproduced the essence of these glorious Chessmen and made them available on a very limited basis.
